BioThe Oregon Regency Society was founded in December of 2006 with the aim of creating a community of Jane Austen enthusiasts (Janeites), Regency and English Country Dancers, Regency Romance Readers, Historic Costumers, reenactors and more. Bringing together all these various groups has created a unique community of people from all walks of life, who enjoy the diversions of the Regency Period in the form of balls, parties, teas, workshops, movie nights and more. Members come from all over Oregon, Southern Washington, Northern California and even Arizona. We have doctors, lawyers, professors, homemakers, seamstresses, musicians, students... it's a veritable tribe of Regency bliss. :) Join us.
